Guideline 1.2: Lost or Damaged and Delinquent patrons

1.2A The circulation staff will send two (2) overdue notices On the third (3rd) notice the patron’s account will be placed on hold until resolution. When possible, phone calls or other means of communication will be made to the patron. Student patrons will have a hold placed on their student account. Once hold is placed the material is considered lost. (see 1.2B)

1.2B Patrons are responsible for lost or damaged items. The library charges the price of a replacement and a $10.00 processing fee for each lost or damaged item. When deemed necessary, a hold will be placed on the patron's record in the event of non-payment. In addition, students placed on hold will have limited or no access to transcripts and/or enrollment in classes until the library has received payment for each lost item or materials have been returned.
