In an annotated bibliography, all of your citations and works cited follow the normal rules for the style guide your professor chooses (APA, MLA, Chicago/Turabian). The only thing you add is an annotation--your description of each source.
The annotation summarizes the source, and then includes your own evaluation of it. Annotations can be a few sentences, or a few paragraphs. Check with your professor to see what is required for your assignment.
For more information or ideas on how to write annotations, check out the article Annotated Bibliographies from easybib.com, or visit OWL at Purdue to see an example.
