Guideline 1.10: Safety & Minors in the Chapman Learning Center

Safety & Minors in the CLC:

1.10A The Library does not censor library materials. Therefore, supervision or restriction of a minor’s access to the Internet or other library materials is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.

1.10B Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety, care, and supervision of children of under the age of eighteen (18) in the library.

1.10C Children under twelve (12) may not be left unattended in the library.

1.10D Parents or guardians of children who are disruptive will be asked to remove their children from the library.

1.10E Parents or guardians will be held responsible for damage caused to Library property by their children.

1.10F On matters of safety and security, the CLC will follow the College’s policy on Safety and Security.
